I am currently watching a really interesting talk by Sauvik Das from Enigma 2018 titled Social Cybersecurity: Reshaping Security through an Empirical Understanding of Human Social Behavior.

Main takeaway "Social influences strongly affect cybersecurity behaviors, and we can encourage better behaviors by designing more social cybersecurity systems"

Applying this idea to 2FAN, it could be interesting to give people a one-click option to share/announce the fact that they enabled 2FA on an given site. This might encourage more people in their social network(s) to do the same, and will hopefully spread the awareness that a give site even support 2FA at all (many people don't know which do and which don't).

If 2FA Notifier ever gains enough non-technical users, then this feature might have even more impact because the technical networks of non-technical users likely contain more non-technical than technical people, which are the exact people we'd be trying to reach and encourage to enable 2FA.
