Can I use ACL authorizer without Schema Registry Security Plugin?

Hello All,

I am evaluating confluent schema registry to be used with our MSK deployment.

While going through the documentation https://docs.confluent.io/platform/7.5/schema-registry/security/index.html, I found this:
Authorization is (provided through the Schema Registry Security Plugin) which is a commercial component of Confluent Platform.

I wanted to know if I can use schema registry with ACL authorization without a commercial license?
