When using a dark theme, method calls in md files are highlighted with a light background and very light foreground. I've searched everywhere to change this but cannot find it.
This screen shot shows the issue, the cursor is in the second field which is why its slightly different.

How do I change that?

I'd ask this on a support forum but couldn't fine one.

Hello,

Could you please check if any of next helps:

  • Settings > Editor > Colors & Fonts > General > Default text
  • Settings > Editor > Colors & Fonts > Language Defaults > String text
  • Settings > Editor > Colors & Fonts > Java > String text

For your chosen color scheme

Are there same issue with HTML specs?

Thanks,
Ievgen

Hi, the settings above were all reasonable, changing them had no effect.
HTML specs look fine.

I think I might try on a completely clean intellij installation just in case its something in my environment.
