Conceptual-C returns C to its roots as a simple language with generic types and lambdas. We assert that most, if not all, major programming paradigms can be concisely implemented in Conceptual-C.

Many of the ideas animating the invention of Conceptual-C are contained in Stepanov and McJones' "Elements of Programming." In particular, in Appendix B, Parent and Stroustrup define a subset of C++. Conceptual-C is a refinement and further simplification of this language.
