Ignores are forgotten on quit

I am not sure if it happens on quit, but I think so, as when I /ignore nick I get message ignored nick!*@*, but sometime afterwards (after at least client restart if not device or lipstick) I start seeing messages from those people again and when I /ignore I get no ignores,

Also experiencing this, I thought I could get around it by adding my ignore to a command to execute on connect, but that doesn't seem to be persistent either.

The command you execute on connect should be persistent.
