Pause effect for a few scrolls before continuing the animation?

Hello,

I was wondering if its possible to do the title. Basically when not using the hi-jacking method, there is a small window of where things are full sized and not being animated with a transition. I have some buttons on some slides and it makes it hard to click them as you have to scroll just at the right spot before you can access them. I was wondering if there is a way to include a delay before the next section transition.
