I feel like I have complained/asked before and found a workaround, but I failed to find it.

I thought -q 0 might do it -- but nope.

It is needed to see on what file(s) codespell is spending time and possibly unnecessarily.

For now using strace:

strace -e trace=openat python `which codespell`
