Locally built Docker container will not start

Hello, I'm trying to build a code-server Docker image locally from source. I am getting very close following the guidelines in the contributing docs:

./ci/dev/image/run.sh ./ci/steps/release.sh
IMAGE=centos7 ./ci/dev/image/run.sh ./ci/steps/release-packages.sh

# Here I updated ./ci/dev/image/run.sh to volume map "-v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock"
# so the run container can use Docker on my host.
sudo ./ci/dev/image/run.sh ./ci/steps/build-docker-image.sh

When I try to start the container, I consistently get:

Error: Cannot find module '/usr/lib/code-server'

Could anyone help point me in the right direction here? Thank you in advance!

Found this issue, which I'm assuming is what is happening: #2310
Will update my branch
