@figgie The EPOCH date value in EXTRACT arrived with IBM i 7.2 back in 2014... we do not support any versions of IBM i before 7.3, which became available in 2016. 😢 IBM i 7.1 went out of support in 2018, so the server is really in need of an upgrade. 😍 The IBM i release life cycle can be seen here: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/release-life-cycle |

Hi, I'm not able to view any objects inside the object browser. The files load but none of their members are visible. On trying to expand the file, I see the following error in the Output section:
The error translates to
Token EPOCH was not valid. Valid tokens: DAY HOUR YEAR MONTH MINUTE SECOND
.I did a bit of digging around and saw that the
extract
function acceptsepoch
only in non z/OS Db2 and also only in versions >= 11.1.Z/OS EXTRACT Documentation
Non-Z/OS Extract Documentation
I can't seem to find any mention of these requirements in the requirements section at the ReadMe. If this is needed can we modify the requirements or could you suggest any workaround for the same?
Expected behavior
I should be able to see members of the files.
Environment (please complete the following information):
