The idea here is that Diaspora for Venezulano's data is needed to help make better decisions about where refugees are going and where they are. Goal is to find ways to collect and visualize the data.

Some break down ideas

• we could use a google sheet to start collecting the data
• would be great to have a way to consume data from a google sheet to transfer into a mysql db or big query so we can visualize the data
• we need a google form to start capturing the data
  - [ ] idea for using an sms bot for asking Venezolanos for the data, could we do the same with slack or whatsapp? ( we decided not to work on this because it cost money in Venezuela to use sms)

Basically to report and match according to location demand and supply of social services for the Venezuelan diaspora

We're on our way with starting to create an application, it seems to have two components. Data capture and user interaction. Reposting here from slack

Sub team work items

• 🏁 Team 1: is working on forms and how we collect information from our Personas, atm there are immigrants and services.
• 🏁 Team 2: Is testing geo location api’s to identify cities so we can perform a bridge lookup with interactions and services, we also are working on how we get data from google sheet for longer term storage
• 🏁 Team 3: Is working on an interactive facebook app that will allow us to collect and ask additional question
