An edit function should be available, a user should own and control the content he/she generated.
Content should be free to edit form the author up to 5 minutes after posting without any remarks, for quick spelling corrections and other typos, format etc. Any edits after that grace period should be marked as edited by $user on $timestamp, with an optional stated reason.
If content is altered by an administrator it should be tagged as such in any case, even during the first five minutes.

Hi @Ashure - Thanks so much for raising this. Totally agree with what you've got here. We've got this issue in our backlog, but not prioritized just yet. We'll take your request here into account during next prioritization round!
