.msi installation fails because FME installation is not found

Installation von ili2fme via .msi scheitert mit der Fehlermeldung

This module can only be installed if FME has been installed first.

Environment:

• FME Form 2024.0.1
• ili2fme v7.3.1

erste Analyse

Die Konfiguration für den MSI-Installer findet hier statt:

ili2fme/setup/ili2fme.wxs

Analyse des Logfiles des Installers zeigt, dass der Schlüssel FME_HOME in der Registry an folgendem Ort gesucht wird:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE32\SOFTWARE\Safe Software Inc.\Feature Manipulation Engine (man beachte das 32 nach HKLM!)
