Handling Drupal Permissions on Uninstall

Hi all, I have installed civivolunteer a time ago to try and then uninstall but apparently there are some things that are not uninstalled correctly... now whenever I want to change a permission setting in the host cms (Drupal 10) I get an error like: Uncaught PHP Exception RuntimeException: "Adding non-existent permissions to a role is not allowed. When I try to install civivolunteer back just to skip this chaos, it can't find a template file and not installed.
