Shuffle history for Previous button while in shuffle mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Initiate playback of a song
2. Enable shuffle mode 
3. Press Next several times to skip forward several songs
4. Press Previous to step backwards a single song (or more)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: backwards-history of songs chosen at random due to shuffle mode
Instead: DAAP appears to shuffle backwards too

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
.9.6.2 on Android 2.3.5/Samsung Galaxy SII (therefore, Touchwiz)
