About IN2IT

IN2IT has been an active Chi Hack Night breakout group since 2018. Our mission is to make community engagement easier and more accessible. Our vision is to provide a quality resource that increases community involvement across the Chicagoland area.

Who we're looking for

If you're a member of a volunteer oranization, or you're civically involved in Chicago, we'd love to hear from you. While we are a civic tech group, we welcome volunteers from all kinds of technical and non-technical backgrounds.

  • Our website is built with a JavaScript framework called Nuxt 3
  • Behind the scenes, it uses a Firestore database
  • The latest version of our site is hosted with Cloudflare Pages

Where we meet

We meet in a Slack Huddle every Tuesday night between 8pm and 9pm.
