The napari hub supports plugin developers labeling their plugin with terms from the EDAM Bioimaging Ontology, however it can be difficult to identify which terms are relevant. The RST team at CZI has created an ontology matcher which can parse the plugin description and suggest terms from the EDAM Bioimaging Ontology. We would like to add this functionality to the napari hub cli.
Intended Outcome
Plugin developers will have a new command available in the napari hub cli which will generate suggested terms for their plugin from either the napari hub API or a local README or description file.
How it works
Migrate the functionality provided by the napari hub ontomatcher (described here) into a command of the napari hub cli
