You wrote this note "Working Copy has recently made changes that might make much of this unnecessary!". Can you specify in which version of working copy was this introduced? It doesn't seem to work for me. I have working copy 2.9.9

I am in same version of WC... The steps I use:

  1. In WC go to the desired repo
  2. Click Share icon in upper right
  3. Pick "Run Pythonista Script" (You may need to enable this)
  4. Pick "Import File" (.zip file is saved into Pythonista)
  5. Switch to Pythonista app and then click the .zip file
  6. Click "Extract Archive..."

Thanks. It works when I try to share a repo. I was trying to share a file and the "Import File" was not showing.

Apple's app review guidelines will not allow Pythonista to accept a .py file but a .anything_else file should work just fine.

Try making a copy from PyGeodesy-..ZIP or an other distribution file into Pythonista on iOS. That works manually, no idea what WorkingCopy does. Run the test/run.py script.
