@Cdrei If you are including the KEYMAP feature, try Ctrl and Alt in conjunction with pressing the key. It should invoke your shell's respective Fkey. |

Nope, you're right; I do not get the Fkeys. I used KEYMAP and am running Ubuntu 22.04 w Gnome. When I press the various dedicated keys I get the expected dedicated behavior. When I hold Alt while pressing a dedicated key, I get the Alt-Fkey behavior as determined in the Gnome settings; e.g., Alt-Forward produces Alt-F2 and brings up my "Run command" dialog, Alt-IncreaseBrightness produces Alt-F7 and switches mode to moving the top-most window, etc. I can also set up custom Ctrl-<dedicated_key> shortcuts that will produce the expected Ctrl-Fkey result. But I haven't found a way to produce the Fkey by itself. I'm the one that added the KEYMAP feature so I'll investigate this further... |
