Migrate codebase to [insert-lang-here]

Summary

Migrating the codebase is a future discussion, as of late there have been multiple audio issues plaguing the repo that require to be addressed first, but in the near future migrating the codebase to something like python would be optimal. This discussion's primary purpose is to keep a list of features/solutions that better work on a more streamlined scripting language.

The ascii flare in the installer relies on toilet. Unfortunately, there is no existing python variant, so I have created poilet. If a python codebase is ever constructed, poilet can be put to good use, and retain the same feel of the shell installer.

Have you looked into Ansible? I’m not fan of it’s readability but I think it could be very reliable and robust.

I have not. I am however very fond of python and you mentioned you were too, so I thought it would at least be a good consideration. I will look into ansible right now though, as I am curious. Obviously easiest implementation should be the best choice, or at the very least given a thought. Thankyou for the suggestion.

Looked into ansible, and It's pretty robust, A bit boated, but robust. The problem I see with ansible is that it tends to over complicate things, but that's just my take, I have yet to use it.
