Abnormal terminal colors on default install

I am trying this for the first time I tried both to with the config command provided and without it. same result the colors are off.

can you help me please ?

I noticed when I highlight all using cmd+a, the color seemed to be ok.

details:
Macbook air m1 - Sonoma 14.2.1 - default terminal - latest nvim v0.10.0
