I just uploaded my OPML and there were lots of duplicates added to my profile. I suspect this is because of http/https changes and other minor changes in feed URLs (we currently only identify podcasts by their feed URL).

  • There should be a podcast merging tool in the admin panel
    • bonus points for showing potential merge candidates
    • users should keep their podcast descriptions in case of merges
  • We should at least ignore http/https when deciding if a podcast is new
