Weird behavior on Firefox + Youtube + OSX

I observed a weird behavior with the plugin on Youtube. For example, I am listening something and hit the pause key. The video stops properly. If I open the tab and go to another video, manually pause the new video (using the Youtube controls) and finally hit the play key, the video previously paused with the pause key (which is not visible anymore) is played until the end. You can see it as Firefox is adding the sound icon in the tab even if the current video is paused. It is definitely something in the background playing. It can be confusing as the video displayed is paused (as manually paused) but there is sound coming from this tab.
