Rubicon-ml leverages fsspec for persistence. This issue includes:

  1. Determine which fsspec backends apply to rubicon
  2. Validate each backend works with rubicon-ml
  3. add working backends to docs

this could be done manually, but some kind of script that takes in a backend and tries it would be useful for potential additions in the future
