What is zkSync Era?

Previously zkSync 2.0, zkSync Era is a Zero Knowledge (ZK) rollup that supports generalized EVM compatibility for the Ethereum blockchain. This means that most dApps deployed on Ethereum can be deployed on zkSync Era.

What is zkSync Lite?

Previously zkSync 1.0, zkSync Lite is a trustless protocol for scalable low-cost payments on Ethereum, powered by zkRollup technology. This has been live for more than 2 years on mainnet. It allows basic transfers, swaps, and NFTs functions but NO SMART CONTRACTS

How do I migrate my funds from zkSync Lite to zkSync Era?

Currently you can check the zkSync Ecosystem for bridges https://ecosystem.zksync.io/, but we are working to make it as seamless as possible for our users without having to rely on third party bridges.

Is there a token for zkSync?

There is no token for zkSync Lite or zkSync Era.

How long do withdrawals from zkSync Lite to Ethereum take?

Withdrawals from zkSync Lite to Ethereum can take up to 7 hours

How do I find my funds if the withdrawal is marked as "verified" on zkSync Lite, but I have not received my funds on L1?

If you don't see your funds, check these steps

• If your transaction is marked as verified and you still don't see your funds, please wait up to 60 min and you will have your funds If you used another bridge or dApp like ZigZag or Orbiter, please reach out to their teams for support. How do I find my funds if the withdrawal is marked as "verified" on zkSync Era, but I have not received my funds on L1?

There is currently a 24 hour delay on withdrawals from zkSync Era mainnet to Ethereum L1. You can learn more about the process and reason in our latest blog post
