Sensor not recording data #22
Comments
Were you able to solve this issue? |
Nope |
I was able to pull data from ConEd through this add-on but unfortunately it wasn't accurate at all so I stopped using it |
Just piling in that I'm seeing the same thing. Tried different state_class, but yeah it's only updating ~20% of my actual usage onto the dashboard. If I check the sensor entity directly it shows some usage, but that's not making it cleanly to the Energy dashboard. |
I had same issue that's why I stopped using it altogether. The addon was also a resource hog. |
Upsetting as it's so close to pulling everything we need. Hopefully not a huge overhead to resolve, would love to be able to pull this data (accurately) into the dashboard. |
This change worked for me (ConEd, Westchester County). The data, while being collected, only started to show on the Energy Dashboard after I changed the state class as noted. Oddly, I'm getting some "returned to grid" values, which is miraculous as I don't have any energy generation here. |
@bvlaicu , I have the configuration setup as per the documentation (and I remember it used to work few months ago)
Here is my setup:
I am receiving data on MQTT
But there is no sensor data being updated, per influx DB, the sensor doesn't even exist. Any ideas?
