Bumptop refuses to work

Honestly this is my first time opening an issue on GitHub, however I haven't found any solutions to the issue I am facing. Whenever I try to load bumptop, no matter the version I have downloaded from here this

happens and it refuses to load any further. I have tried cleaning my hard drive, and even after removing about 200gb from my hard drive it refuses to load, there was a person who had a similar screenshot said that it was getting stuck on a shortcut or something and i even removed all shortcuts from the desktop...Yet nothing works. I would love to get any help in making this work as I feel the program would help me stay organized.

Try to reinstall the software. Change your desktop background.
I noticed that Bumptop saves configuration of icons and files and if you remove it... it might cause it to break...
I am working on an alternative to Bumptop that is more modern and stable.

I ended up ending the project just a few days ago but it was an Unreal Engine based desktop replacement for Linux, it was supposed to do what Bumptop did as well as add new functionality, but unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to code it, with or without Unreal Engine.

Nice! I have a 3D OS project in Unity I've been developing for a while. 3D web browser is all prototyped and very cool! Will start working on file management as soon as I get some more funds.

Happy end of the year everyone. I want to ask you what version of the software are you using? I currently have version 2.5 r6293 on a Surface pro 6 with i5 and 8 ram and it performs very well.

Is there a more updated version?

I have the Same Issue. I tried Reinstalling it, And it didnt work. Im about to Reinstall windows because of this.
