pynput requires X? Any other options?

Hi, I gather that pynput requires X windows in order to function properly.

I am using termsaver via ssh consoles. Do you know if there is any way to bypass the X requirement? I am researching that now.

I am trying to get the screensaver to exit on (any) keypress.

I know there's a quip on their (pynput) platform limitations page with ssh connections, about setting the proper DISPLAY variable but I'm not sure how much it will help in this instance.

I'll do some research when I can, but if you do happen upon anything that might be useful, drop a comment here or touch base on discord (eddiedover), and I'll be happy to attempt an integration
