This will help new users of the project easily deploy it as it continue to get more complicated.

With the addition of rtree it's not as simple as pip install -r requirements.txt anymore

@typicalTYLER can I get permissions to assign myself to an issue (this one in particular), when you get a chance, please?

RE the issue itself... I'm thinking I'll use a Ubuntu 16.04 container as a base, and start from there? 14.04 is now officially end-of-life, and from my (limited) experience, there are still some kinks and unsupported packages (e.g. rtorrent) with 18.04. Any thoughts?

16.04 is perfect! That's what I run on my dev machine. And yes I'll give you the permissions as soon as I figure out how.

This issue makes it seem like all you need is push access to the repo. I think I might've sent you a collaborator invite to this repo as well when I sent it for DeepSolar. I can try to resend.
