Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

All contributors and maintainers commit to fostering an inclusive community that is harassment-free for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, neurotype, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, socioeconomic status, level of experience, political opinion, nationality, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our community include:

  • Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
  • Using inclusive language
  • Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
  • Acceping responsibility and apologizing to those affected by our mistakes
  • Focusing on what is not just best for us as individuals, but for the overall community
  • Not being evil, even if you become a multinational conglomerate

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • The use of sexuality language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment of any kind
  • Publishing others' private information (otherwise known as 'doxxing'), such as physical or email address, without their explicit permission
  • Any and all other conduct which could reasonbly be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Maintainer Responsibilities

Repository maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing the standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior deemed inappropriate, threatening, offensive, and/or harmful. Likewise, maintaiers retain the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, and will communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, and also applies when an individual is officially representing the community in public spaces. Examples of representing our community include using an official email address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event.

Enforcement

Any instances of abuse, harassment, and/or otherwise uancceptable behavior may be reported to the primary repository maintainer, Brandyn Lucca, at [[email protected]]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. Please include your name (or user handle) and a description of the behavior -- all maintainers are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident. Maintainers, contributors, and participants are expected to comply immediately when asked to cease any problematic behavior.
