I use keepassdroid (2.5.17.2) on a Smartphone an on a PC. The database file is stored in google drive to keep it in sync between PC and phone.
Since a few days when I open keepassdroid e try to open the database ( with the biometrics) it says file not found:
sometimes it is just matter of trying again a few more times and the database is opened. Some other times, I have to open the file on google drive, insert the password and store again the fingerprint.
I am wondering if it depends on some change of the way google drive manages offline files or on the keepassdroid app itself.

I am having the same problem. Everything worked great and this started. I have to keep selecting the file location and then it will open. But open it later and it starts all over again. I get the following message

"File not found. Try opening from content provider."

I am using google drive as well.

Help!!

I have the same problem recently. Used to work okay, then recently it would fail to find the default database on the first attempt to unlock with the password, then I would try again and it would work.

Now it doesn't work at all, as if the path to the file on my Google Drive isn't being stored correctly.

If I press the back button, and select the file on the drive again, it loads the second time.

I'm experiencing the same on 2.6.8, except it seems impossible to open today (tried more than 5 times). In addition, the error message is incomplete:

Fichier non trouvé. Essayer de l'ouvrir à nouveau à partir de votre fournisseu...

This may be related to #497 .

Sooooooo..... I got tired of it never working so this is what I have done. It works great and no more problems.
Let me say I store my KeepassDroid Database file on Google Drive so my phone and PCs can each get to the file.

  1. First I now store my KeepassDroid DB on my phone in a folder.
  2. I got an app called DriveSync and installed it on my phone.
  3. DriveSync will now take my Keepass file and sync it to Google Drive for me.
  4. once DriveSync uploads my file... Google Drive will take care of syncing it to my PCs
Everything works great again..... make a change on the PC to the file, Google drive syncs it and my phone gets the change via DriveSync..... Make a change on my phone, DriveSync uploads it the google drive sends it to the PCs.

I am happy again.
