Is there any log of planned backups?

I have a backup planned daily at 03:42, but when I go to archives, today the backup wasn't done and I can't explain why. Is there anyway I can debug this?

Vorta has a log file, which is linked in the Misc tab. There might be more details there.

If you didn't upgrade to v0.7.3 yet and use macOS, it's also possible that AppNap didn't wake Vorta up for the backup. This issue is fixed in 0.7.3.

XFCE does not hibernate individual apps, that I know of. What logs should I look at in order to debug this?

I mean, I reported the logs between the affected hours. Vorta logged something on 17 Feb at 11:01 (which I reported), then should have made a backup on 18 Feb 03:42 but the logs are totally silent until 18 Feb 08:19 when I unlocked my screen (and it logged something which I reported)

If you are you implying that informations about this backup have been logged some other time, I will provide the full vorta logs ASAP. If you are implying it's Qt or XFCE or Ubuntu or whatever else's fault, I repeat my question, what logs should I look at?

Sorry, no idea. Don't know much about Linux desktop envs really. I mostly maintain Vorta and Borg for macOS.

The full log (of version 0.7.3) would be interesting because it would show you the periodic scheduler reloads. If you don't see those, the app was probably asleep.
