  • Copy Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/Frameworks/Google\ Chrome\ Framework.framework/Libraries/WidevineCdm to Chromium.app/Contents/Frameworks/Chromium\ Framework.framework/Libraries
    # assume Chrome is at /Volumes/Google\ Chrome
    # assume Chromium is at /Applications/Chromium.app
    rsync -av "/Volumes/Google\ Chrome/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/Frameworks/Google\ Chrome\ Framework.framework/Libraries/WidevineCdm" /Applications/Chromium.app/Contents/Frameworks/Chromium\ Framework.framework/Libraries/

Also need to install dummy libraries.

  • Download dummy libraries
  • Copy libraries to /usr/lib
    # assume dummy libraries are at ~/Downloads/dummylibs/
    sudo rsync -av ~/Downloads/dummylibs/*.dylib /usr/lib/
