Is this a setting that can be changed, or does this require compiling calamares?

Manjaro compiles and ships Calamares, I currently only package our netrunner branding files. All other settings are handled by the Manjaro packages directly, or for some settings, changed via Manjaro tools internals.

This is likely a reaction to blue-systems/plasma-issues#170 : Calamares reaches the summary-page, and since the summary is "tall", the window grows to accomodate it.

In Calamares 3.2.4 (available in KDE neon, I don't know about elsewhere) the branding.desc file (of whatever branding you're using) has new settings that control window (re)size behavior. See https://github.com/calamares/calamares/blob/master/src/branding/default/branding.desc . There's no "with scrollbars" setting, but there is a noexpand setting, which will stop the growth effect. Instead, you get scrollbars as needed. I think they're terribly ugly and hard to use (this is because of the widgetry used, and could be improved, but is low-priority).

So it may be enough to add:

windowExpanding: noexpand

to the branding.desc file.
