Commit c65b3ba introduces new payment scheme: PPLNSBF (Pay Per Last Share Block Finder) with with customizable percentage:

How does it work?

Step 1: The miner which finds a block get rewarded N% of the block reward.

Step 2: The rest of the block reward get distributed using classic PPLNS calculation between everyone who participated for that block, including the block finder.

The percentage is customizable using "blockFinderPercentage": 25.0, in this example 25% of the block reward goes directly to the block finder. The value must be a double.

Final thought worth considering

I am not a huge fan of that payment scheme, although it is psychologically encouraging for small miners when they find a block. It is also too advantageous for anyone who will dominate the hash-rate on your pool, that person will literally steal the vast majority of block reward literally all the time. So pick your percentage very wisely.
