Can't update edl because there is no internet connection.

On a real PC from USB-memory, and in a VM. (both integrated realtek)

But thanks for the LiveDVD as it confirmed that my Windows setup is not working properly.
At least linux can talk to my phone. But error message on automatic loader, Sahara error invalid data size in header.

Tested on my Lenovo T480.
Not sure about Ethernet, but WiFi is working fine.
I will update message later, when I will have opportunity to use the LAN cable.

Can confirm, though, that in VirtualBox the enp3s0 (ethernet adapter) was down.

Ah. Nice test ty. I used LAN.
Maybe I can find a working WIFI-adapter or use USB tethering.

Edit: No, neither option worked so I copied edl files with USB-stick.

fixed this by editing the netplan config...
changed ens33 to enp0s3 in /etc/netplan/00-installer-config.yaml
then run netplan apply
