I got the new design on my Android phone today. I understand that the old design couldn't be kept, but I think the new one could be improved.
The problem I am having is that the font in the new UI appears smaller, and lighter weight, than the other apps on my phone. My eyesight is not very good and I have difficulty reading light-weight fonts (the weight is a bigger problem than the size— the entire industry appears to be moving to progressively lighter fonts and it causes big problems for me). The entire point of the BitWarden app is to read things out of it so this is a big problem for me. I'm struggling to use the new app because while I'm copying things out I'm having to do things like squint or move the phone close to my face. It is inconvenient.
Expected Result
Offer font controls of some sort, even if it's "use system font". Alternately, bump everything up in the app by one font size. If I increase the "Font Size" in my Android "Display size and text" settings, the BitWarden app looks good to me. But then every app in the system OTHER than BitWarden feels like it has inconveniently large text.
Actual Result
Your entire app feels to me like it is one "font size" smaller than every other app on the system. The font seems to be different from my Android system font.

Issue Tracking Info
I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

Just a quick note to say I agree with the issue. I have the accessibility settings on my phone such that font size is where I need it, but the newly rolled out Android interface definitely feels one font size too small, as it were.
