Event logs

Use cases for managing Windows 10 clients / Windows Server 2016 or later

• Clear-SysMEventLog.ps1

  Clears all entries from specified event log

• Export-SysMEventLog.ps1

  Export the event log on the computer

• Get-SysMEventLog.ps1

  Gets the event log from the computer

• Get-SysMEventLogItems.ps1

  Gets the events in an event log

• Limit-SysMEventLog.ps1

  Sets the event log properties that limit the size of the event log and the age of its entries

• New-SysMEventLog.ps1

  Creates a new event log and a new event source on the computer
