The project is desperate for some test coverage but I have little time at the moment.

We seem to have a few contributors to the project, which is really great. However, for this to work smoothly we need a decent test suite that covers the main behaviours at least.

I would really appreciate it if somebody could contribute with some tests. I know it's not very glamorous but tests are essential to the health of the project.
