I don't think that the Facebook App needs to be installed.
I just followed the instructions there audience-network; the AudienceNetwork SDK is embedded with this plugin and it should be all that matters.

Well, OK, so a Facebook session needs to be opened somewhere, maybe in the FB app or by implementing FB login in your app.
There's nothing I can do about that, it's the way it's working.
