building locally is not a trivial task for people who have not done that and don't have the faculties for it.

I welcome pull requests. They could be built with GitHub actions and stored as releases

hi, do you mean that one should first fork the repo, and then create one's own github actions and then somehow incorporate them into a PR? I'm not very familiar with github actions, but i wouldn't mind learning more.
