I’m trying to extract a group text imessage conversation. Did you ever make any progress on this? If not can you suggest a paid app?

I did a workaround with iPhone screenshots but of course movies don’t play and had to change screenshots to JPEGs and assemble...

Hi there,

I have used this code to successfully extract all messages from my backup back in January this year. However, I don't know whether I had any group chats.

I also have some more recent experiences with a paid app, iMobie AnyTrans, which should be able to extract all your messages (and even restore them to a new backup.)

Also, I see that this repo https://github.com/junkblocker/iOSMessageExport forked mine and made some improvements, so you can try that one if this doesn't work.
