Hi,
I've a setup using a Raspberry MPD server with a snapserver using pipe file.
My clients are either other Raspberrys, on Android clients. I usually connect only one client at a time, and use the server to send music remotely.
If I stop the client, or if the client is disconnected (internet down on the server or the client side), the music will normally continue playing until I can reconnect and give new instructions. It does stop sometimes, after a few songs, but I couldn't find any pattern for this.
I understand you can control the server with JSON commands, but I cannot find if the server itself can detect if no clients are connected, and send a command in this case. That would allow me to pause the music on the last client disconnection, or on unexpected disconnections, and start it again when a client connects back.
Is there something I missed, or is this a feature that is currently not implemented?
