It's probably good time to start posting announcements here.
ktmidi 0.3.0 released: it added various MIDI-CI system exclusive packets generator functions. Still experimental, subject to changes, and to be used by my other projects, but it would help interoperability with some MIDI2 enhancements over existing MIDI1 apps.
