How can I update all globally installed tools (taking into account self's Python version)?

Is it possible to update all globally installed tools to their latest version? It's not clear to me if rye self update does this (I don't think so). Also, rye tools --help only lists:

Helper utility to manage global tools

Usage: rye tools <COMMAND>

Commands:
  install    Installs a package as global tool
  uninstall  Uninstalls a global tool
  list       List all registered tools
  help       Print this message or the help of the given subcommand(s)

Options:
  -h, --help  Print help
