Actually, ASLwrite and Si5s are separate. Bob changed a lot of things after we split on the book, so it has grown into its own branch of the written ASL tree. More information at http://www.aslwrite.com/about_aslwrite/ and the new book at http://www.aslwrite.com/writeaslnow/

Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you need more information for the summary. Thank you!

Hi! I have been working for a while on a written approach to sign language that uses a modified music staff (three tiers) because the 5 parameters of ASL occur both simultaneously and sequentially. This matches the format for recording music. I am working on a second book "signotation ASL Writer's guide" to be completed sometime this spring. You can see the concept introduced on my youtube channel: [email protected]. You can also email me at [email protected] Thank you!! ;o) ~Shelly
