When trying to make a coverage map using the MOCs in /vasttools/data/mocs/TILES or /vasttools/data/mocs/COMBINED, I noticed that they seem too large. About 66 deg^2 (so roughly 8 deg on a side) suggesting they haven't been trimmed.
For comparison, here is the coverage figure made from the MOCs in this repo, compared to one made using manual 6 deg x 6 deg fields:
Made with MOCs:
Made by hand:
The edges of the fields get many more observations when the MOCs are used since they overlap too much.
