Some discussion has started about an ASDF landing page. The action items so far are:

• lay out requirements
  • pretty
  • easy to maintain
  • a "getting started" section linking to relevant starting points
  • perhaps link to binder or some other cloud service with an environment set up for one of the workshops
  • disambiguate:
    • asdf the python library
    • asdf-standard the python library
    • ASDF the standard
• what users are we targeting?
  • astronomers
  • developers
  • scientists
• what resources should we link to?

Perhaps the issue of schema visualization can be separated by updating the asdf-standard readthedocs (or sphinx-asdf). The ASDF website could then link to the respective package (like asdf-standard or rad) where the schemas can be explored in the package documentation.
