erc721 doesn't know anything about transfer costs... there's ethereum/EIPs#2665 and there's ERC-1155 that may help.

this is not crucial, but it would be very nice, because having big prizes would make malthusia better and more legitimate and cooler

i want to create a meritocracy

another idea is to just take a voluntary tax. but unclear if opensea would play well with that.

actually... unclear how opensea works with royalties. research this
