Bug report: "Follow cursor" option is reset each time multi-monitor setup changes from multiple monitors, to single monitor and back to multiple monitors.
#46
Describe the bug
I work in a multi-monitor setup and I prefer the "Follow cursor" option of AutoScreenshot. During my day I sometimes switch from using 2 monitors (my work setup) to using 1 monitor (gaming or movies setup) and then back to 2 monitors. Each time this is done the "Follow cursor" gets reset to "All monitors".
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Use 2 monitors and setup AutoScreenshot to "Follow cursor"
In your Windows display settings switch to only 1 monitor
Now switch back to using 2 monitors
The Used Monitor option will be set to "All Monitors"
Expected behavior
I would expect the "Follow cursor" option to be kept (even if there only 1 monitor is used, I think it is ok that it shows as "Follow cursor" but with the option grayed out.
Version
1.16 (build date May 9, 2024)
OS
Windows 10 64 bit
Additional context
What I think is happening is that when the program detects that only 1 monitor exist, the Used monitor option is irrelevant, so it get's reset to its default value. So then when you go back to 2 monitors it shows the default "All Monitors value".
