The gcc provided within "pc-i386-contrib" isn't compatible with the "pc-i386-boot-iso" distribution (it reports that the file isn't executable), some files in the developer/bin directory work, tho (bison, make or git do but yacc or i386-aros-gcc don't).

Did you check if protection set for executable? For binary output file.
